The Mastership Award is the Academy of General Dentistry's highest honor.

What is MasterTrack®?

MasterTrack® is a continuing education series developed to meet the requirements for achievement of Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Over 5 years, the Alabama MasterTrack® participants will complete a comprehensive course of study in 16 dental disciplines and earn a total of 1,100 hours of continuing education towards their MAGD.

MasterTrack® courses are a combination of hands-on, lecture and protocol instruction. Classes are presented by highly accomplished clinicians and industry professionals, many who have achieved Mastership themselves.

Less than 2% of general dentists in the U.S. have earned the professional designation of MAGD.

Protocol Courses

The MasterTrack® learning experience offers protocol courses which have three primary components:

A classroom session
A homework assignment, to be completed independently by the participant in their practice with their own patients
A homework presentation, critique and evaluation session with the MasterTrack® Instructor

MasterTrack® Instructors are carefully selected based on peer recommendation and professional experience. They are committed to the growth of the general dentist.

Beyond the Classroom

With over a decade of success, MasterTrack® programs offer a practical approach to learning that is meaningful and immediately applicable for your practice and patients.

MasterTrackers enjoy the camaraderie of working with their classmates, creating mutally rewarding professional relationships. They are able to talk about cases together with a shared clinical perspective.
